Bilingual & Storytelling

MAFA serves as a dynamic platform for media arts in Canada, offering students hands-on experience in creating microfilms, documentaries, and commercials. Our work extends beyond the classroom, as we recommend student projects for international youth film festivals and leverage our resources to offer performance opportunities.

In addition to academic endeavors, MAFA has organized impactful events in the Greater Vancouver area, such as "Love in Vancouver" and "Youth Blooming," which benefit local non-profit organizations like the BC Autistic Association.

Our innovation is further showcased through Vancouver's first youth talk show, "Youth Star Anchor," which is entirely student-hosted and covers diverse themes like food and social issues. Our latest class masterpiece, "All Right Assorted," exemplifies our commitment to fresh and innovative storytelling.

Catch more of our bilingual content, including "Small Coffee Storytelling," on our YouTube channel. At MAFA, we're not just an educational institution; we're a groundbreaking new media platform.
